For Buffalo, this game carries significant emotional weight as the franchise inaugurates its new stadium. Head coach Joe Brady confirmed that Josh Allen and the key starters will suit up to inaugurate the new home field, but their night is expected to end after just one or two series to avoid injury risk. Once the main line steps aside, Buffalo relies on a heavily re-tooled back-of-the-roster depth chart that features multiple position battles across the offensive line and receiving corps, leaving their mid-to-late-game execution vulnerable.

The Angle(s): Kansas City right-hander Randy Dobnak (2-1, 2.00 ERA) has been a revelation posting a stellar 2.00 ERA over seven outings, five starts. He faces an Angels lineup that has trended heavily toward low-scoring contests when priced as favorites, hitting the Under in 60% (12-8) of those contests this season.

The Halos counter with southpaw Reid Detmers (3-8, 4.00 ERA), who has been far better than his win-loss record implies. Detmers has spun a sharp 2.39 ERA over his last five starts, but an absolute drought of run support has led to an 0-5 team record for the Angels in those outings, with all five games staying Under the total.

With Kansas City also boasting a strong Under profile (56% Under rate as underdogs over an 80+ game sample), all signs point to a defensive duel in LA.

The Bet: Under (4%). 

White Sox vs Tigers MLB Free Pick

The Angle(s): Detroit right-hander Troy Melton (7-1, 1.46 ERA) has been spectacular on the mound this season, but White Sox southpaw Anthony Kay (9-5, 3.96 ERA) has been on a heater of his own. Kay has propelled Chicago to a strong 4-1 team record over his past five starts while posting a pristine 3.04 ERA during that span.

The primary edge here lies in fading a Detroit lineup that continuously stumbles against left-handed pitching. The Tigers have struggled immensely in this split, entering today with an abysmal 15-22 record (-24% ROI) when facing left-handed starters.

With Kay throwing some of his best baseball of the year and the Tigers' lineup bogged down by systemic struggles against lefties, the White Sox is the play. Gimme the dog. 

The Bet: White Sox (3%).

The Angle(s): Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (11-4, 2.70 ERA) looks to continue a stellar 2026 campaign. Arizona has proven remarkably reliable with their their veteran southpaw on the mound, posting a lucrative 10-3 record (+69%) in the 13 games Rodriguez has started as a moneyline underdog this season.

The Braves hand the ball to right-hander Grant Holmes (7-4, 3.47 ERA), who, while solid, faces a tough matchup, and I don't think should be laying this kind of juice. 

With Rodriguez giving the Diamondbacks a clear starting pitching advantage and Arizona regularly outperforming odds when catching plus-money in his starts, I like the road dog to pull off the upset victory at Truist Park. Gimme the dog.

Tropicana Field remains a fortress for Tampa Bay, espeically when oddsmakers install them as home chalk. The Rays have been remarkably consistent in this role, boasting a 35-16 record (+13% ROI) as home favorites on the season.

I love the Rays to bounce back from a disappointing 6-5 loss in the series-opener, their fourth consecutive loss to Baltimore. Gimme the favorite.
