Texas is worth a move at this price. The Rangers are red hot right now and they are clicking offensively on all cylinders. They go up against Mason Barnett, who is making his MLB debut. Not only is this a tough ballpark to pitch in, but the Rangers offense is coming up with timely hits and hitting the long ball, which is a recipe for disaster for Barnett. Kelly counters and has been great since being acquired. He is off a 7.0 inning shutout against the Guardians and will carry that momentum in. Back Texas.

LSU and Clemson have value to the under. This game is going to be a grind and both teams are going to lean on their run games. This will be the kind of game where these two teams look to set the tone early and try to run it downhill at the opposing defense and wear them down as this game goes on. The Rays have value here on Saturday. Tampa sends out Ryan Pepiot, who has stepped up for this Rays rotation. He’s been able to find consistency and he’s giving them length. He threw 5.0 innings last time out against the Cards allowing just 1 hit. Hes stepped up for this rotation and this is a great matchup for him. Irvin counters and he’s continued to labor and get rocked as of late. Tampa’s scrappy offense is a bad matchup for him and we’re getting good value. Back Tampa.

Saturday 9* MLB ML Play

Texas A&M -24

The Aggies have value here laying the points in their opener. Texas A&M comes in with a far more physical and quicker defense that is going to be the difference here. They will be up against a Roadrunners side that won’t have the ability to move as quickly as they’d like and they won’t have many chances down field. A&M loves to load the box and they will push back this Roadrunners offensive line that should result in them being in the backfield a lot. UTSA had one of the worst defenses in the nation in 2024 and they didn’t change much up in the offseason. Look for the Aggies to open up with a lot of downhill style runs, which ultimately will wear down the UTSA front. Back the Aggies.

Saturday 7* NCAAF ATS Play

LSU +4

LSU catches too many points in this spot. LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier is a top Heisman candidate and one of the best playmakers in the entire nation. This is one of the most talented and quickest LSU teams we have seen in years on both sides of the ball and they're going to use their speed to wear down Clemson. Brian Kelly is under a lot of fire for his performance in big games and he has this team ready for Week 1 in 2025. Look for LSU to play with a lot of tempo and overwhelm this Clemson defense, while putting together a lot of different blitz packages on the defensive end. Catching points with the better team here is great value. Back LSU. 

Saturday 8* NCAAF ATS Play

UCLA +6

UCLA catches points here and this is a solid value play for them. The situational edge is there as they open as a home dog where they have played well in the past seasons. Nico Lamaleava has a lot of talent and he should feed off this home crowd. On the flip side, QB Devon Damper will open for Utah after coming over from New Mexico. He has a lot of question marks surrounding him out wide and in the backfield, which is never a good sign going into Week 1. UCLA will control the clock and put themselves into some short yardage third down situations. Grab the points.

Saturday 10* NCAAF ATS TOP PLAY

Nevada +44.5

This is far too many points on Saturday. Nevada heads into Penn State and the Wolfpack are being way undervalued here. Nevada was one of the unluckiest teams in the nation last year as they dropped 6 games by one score or less. Penn State has a lot of expectations surrounding them and Drew Allard. This may be a bit of a let down game, even in Week 1, as they will look to lean on the run here and not show too much. They won't be looking to blow the doors off Nevada and the Wolfpack can certainly hold their own. They gave SMU everything they could handle last season and return a lot of players from that squad. Grab the points.

Saturday 6* NCAAF ATS Play

Texas +2

The Longhorns and Buckeyes headline the Week 1 slate and we're grabbing the Longhorns with the points. Texas begins the Arch Manning era and there is so much hype around him. He already has a lot of confidence and this offense is going to be extremely explosive. Things will be a little bit tougher for the Buckeyes out of the gate as they have to replace their QB and RB spots. Julian Sayin will get the nod for them and he has a lot of question marks surrounding him. The Longhorns defensively are going to swarm the backfield and make things so difficult for him to sit back in the pocket. Texas is more talented and the buckeyes just lost too many key positions.
