EARLY Old Dominion v Virginia Tech CFB BOOKIE BU$TER

The Angle(s): Virginia Tech opened its 2026 campaign in dominant fashion, dismantling VMI 73-3 at home. Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer led an explosive offensive display that posted 619 total yards, showing immediate efficiency in both the passing and running games. Returning to Lane Stadium for a second consecutive week gives the Hokies a huge environmental advantage, especially with revenge on their minds after falling to the Monarchs last season.

Old Dominion took care of business in its opener against Norfolk State, winning 31-10, but they failed to cover a massive spread and showed inconsistency through the air. Quarterback Quinn Henicle threw for just 137 yards with an interception, relying heavily on his legs to manufacture offense. Stepping into Blacksburg presents a brutal reality check against a Hokies defense that held VMI to negative rushing yards.

Jacksonville State vs Ohio CFB Free Pick

The Angle(s): Ohio returns to Peden Stadium looking to establish physical dominance after dropped their opener on the road at Nebraska. Laying under a field goal at home gives Ohio a prime spot to control the clock and wear down Jacksonville State's defensive front across four quarters.

Jacksonville State picked up a blowout victory over Eastern Kentucky in Week 1, but stepping onto the road against an established MAC program presents a far tougher environment. Expect Ohio to control line of scrimmage, win the time of possession battle, and secure a multi-point victory at home.

The Angle(s): Georgia Tech hosts Tennessee at Bobby Dodd Stadium, giving the Yellow Jackets a valuable home-underdog setup. Georgia Tech is coming off a tight and highly disappointing 14-13 loss to Colorado in their opener, where their defense showed up by holding the Buffaloes to just two touchdowns, but finding the end zone themselves was the issue.   

Tennessee opened its season with a 56-9 blowout over Furman, but stepping into a hostile ACC road venue presents a completely different challenge. Georgia Tech's ability to grind out long drives and keep Tennessee's high-powered offense on the sideline makes catching nearly two touchdowns on home turf a strong situational spot.

The Bet: Georgia Tech (3%).

The Angle(s): The Kansas City Royals send right-hander Randy Dobnak (3-3, 2.54 ERA) to the mound. While Dobnak's ERA looks clean on paper, his 1.32 WHIP shows he regularly allows baserunners, leaving him vulnerable inside hitters-friendly Fenway Park. The Red Sox offense averages 4.4 runs per game and should be able to put continuous pressure on Dobnak and force Kansas City into early bullpen usage.

The Red Sox turn to veteran left-hander Ranger Suarez (6-4, 3.44 ERA). Suarez holds a respectable 1.22 WHIP and 122 strikeouts on the season, but he faces a Kansas City lineup featuring dangerous right-handed bats like Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez, who track left-handed pitching well. Also, conditions at Fenway Park favor high-scoring late innings once the starting pitchers exit.

LATE 10 PM ET: MAGIC MIKE'S CFB BOOKIE BLINDER

The Angle(s): Air Force brings its heavy run option attack into this matchup at home inside Falcon Stadium. The Falcons dominated the ground in their opener. Playing at high altitude in Colorado Springs creates a major conditioning edge for the home team, especially against a traveling opponent in late-game drives.

North Dakota State enters this matchup at 2-0, but they face a major step up in system preparation. Getting points with a home team that controls the tempo and time of possession makes Air Force the sharp side.

EARLY 12 PM ET: 4% Oregon/Oklahoma State CFB TOP PLAY

The Angle(s): Oregon comes into Stillwater with a massive talent edge on both sides of the ball. The Ducks blew out Oklahoma State last season in Eugene, winning 69-3 in a completely one-sided game. Oklahoma State is off to a sluggish start after dropping its season opener to Tulsa 24-10, as almost a two-touchdown favorite at that. Covering a big spread on the road can be tough, but Oregon's depth and speed should create a major mismatch against a rebuilding Oklahoma State secondary.

The Angle(s): Indiana's high-powered offense is picking up right where it left off. The Hoosiers scored 52 points against North Texas in their opener, and quarterback Josh Hoover threw for multiple scores. Under head coach Curt Cignetti, Indiana plays with a fast pace, and rarely slow down against lower-tier FCS opponents, and their backup players stay aggressive late into the game.

Howard's defense faces a massive mismatch against Big Ten size and speed. This should give Indiana short fields and quick scoring drives. Meanwhile, Howard's offense scored 20 or more points in each of its first two games. They have enough playmakers to put up 10 to 14 points, especially late in the game against Indiana's backups.

Tommy McMillen (11-0) presents a formidable challenge, but while McMillen possesses high-volume output and strong grappling foundations, he is vulnerable against technical power strikers.

The Angle(s): Former two-time UFC Flyweight Champion Brandon Moreno (23-10-2) returns to Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, the exact venue where he captured his first UFC title, seeking to snap a two-fight losing skid. Moreno holds a distinct high-level experience edge, boasting one of the most effective jab-and-boxing technical arsenals in the 125-pound division.

He takes on Joseph Morales (15-2), a former TUF 33 winner who has put together a resurgence since returning to the UFC, entering on a five-fight overall win streak.
