The Clippers haven’t been playing well lately and they suffered consecutive home double digit losses to San Antonio and Portland. Even though the Kings are tanking, it’s hard to trust the Clippers to go on the road and score a blowout. Sacramento has won consecutive games and they have covered in four of their last five, so they are playing hard on a nightly basis recently. The Clippers are 5-11 ATS as road favorites this season and we think this line is a little to high tonight.

The Blues have actually won three of the last four meetings, including one in Colorado. St. Louis hasn’t lost by multiple goals since February and we think they will keep this one close as well. The Avalanche used to be invincible at home, but they have lost five of their last six here. The Blues playoff chances are on life support but lately they are playing like they want it, and we see another strong performance from them tonight.

2 Unit Play. Take #911 Toronto -160 over Chicago (2:10p.m., Sunday, April 4 MLB.tv) I like strikeouts and I see Eric Lauer coming up big for us in that department. His first start of the year he threw 5 1/3 innings and had a 9 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio. The White Sox are not off to a good start this season with a losing record and I see Davis Martin getting hit hard in this game with his high career WHIP. Toronto does not want to get swept by this Chicago team to start of the season and will due what it takes to salvage the third and final game of this series.

Liga MX Take Guadalajara/Pumas UNAM OVER 2.5 (10 p.m. EST, Sunday April 5) Guadalajara Chivas have been one of the top defensive sides in Liga MX this season but they showed some cracks defensively last week at Monterrey, where they allowed two goals. It would be tough to keep up the defensive numbers they have earned this season, especially as we near the postseason and some teams are playing their best. One of those sides is Pumas UNAM, now fourth on the table and the third best side for goals scored league wide. They have now scored in 18 straight matches across all competitions, and they will be ready to compete here and make up some ground on No. 1 Chivas. Guadalajara leads the league in goals scored with 25 through 12 matches, so they are averaging more than two per match. Just looking at the odds, Guadalajara is a heavy favorite and very likely to win, but it’s hard to imagine Pumas getting shut out considering their long streak of matches where they scored. Chivas won 2-1 last time these sides met, in October in Mexico City. We think they can do even better at home and Pumas will not be a pushover here. Nice value on the over even when laying some juice.
