Big Al McMordie

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Brooklyn Nets minus the points over Indiana.  After a 2-5 start to the season, the Nets dismissed coach Steve Nash.  Jacque Vaughn is now running the team, and his troops are 7-5 since he took over.  Importantly, they're also 8-3 ATS.  We'll lay the points with Brooklyn, and go against a Pacers team coming off its worst shooting performance of the season, and worst defensive performance of the season.  We had a big play against Indiana in that game, and were rewarded when the Pacers converted just 38% of their shots in their 115-101 loss to the Timberwolves, and allowed Minny to shot 61%.  I look for Indy's troubles to continue tonight.  Lay the points with Brooklyn.  Good luck as always...Al McMordie.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Cincinnati/Tulane game UNDER the total.  The winner of this game will claim the AAC regular season title, so the stakes are high.  The game is priced near Pk'em.  And that bodes well for a low-scoring game, as the Bearcats have gone UNDER 33-16 in competitively-priced games with a spread of 3 or less.  They've also gone UNDER 88-63 vs. conference foes.  Take the UNDER.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Pacific Tigers minus the points over Idaho.  The Vandals come into tonight's game on an 0-4 SU/ATS run.  Meanwhile, Pacific started its season with 3 ATS wins.  But has dropped its last 2 games -- both at home -- to Fullerton and Mount St Mary's.  We'll lay the points with the Tigers against Idaho, as Pacific is 11-4 ATS at home vs. non-conference foes, if the Tigers were off back to back losses.  And Pacific also falls into a 75% ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams to bounce back off losses.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Grambling Tigers + the points over Texas San Antonio.  The Tigers were blown out by 31 points at Arizona St, on Tuesday.  But that defeat has triggered a super 113-49 ATS bounce-back angle of mine.  Take Grambling + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 6 pm, our selection is on the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks + the points over Virginia.  The Hawks will look for a 2nd straight cover after blowing out Marist three days ago.  The Cavaliers come into this game off a 70-61 win over Illinois, and a win over Baylor before that.  But Virginia is 0-7 ATS at home after 2 non-conference games.  And the Hawks are 12-3 ATS off an ATS win.  Take Maryland-Eastern Shore + the points.

At 4 pm, our selection is on the Coppin State Eagles + the points over Maryland.  The Eagles have dropped back to back games after a 3-game win streak.  But I love them to bounce back today, as they're 9-2 ATS on the road off back to back losses.  Take the Eagles + the points.

At 5:30 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels minus the points over Iowa St.  North Carolina is 155-105 ATS at home, or on neutral courts in the regular season as a favorite vs. non-conference foes.  Lay the points with the Tar Heels.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12:30 pm, our selection is on the Jackson State Tigers + the points over Indiana.  The Tigers are 6-0 ATS their last six (and 10-2 ATS their last 12) as double-digit road dogs.  They're also 5-0-2 ATS their last seven games when playing with revenge.  Last year, the Hoosiers blew out JSU by 35, as a 24.5-point home favorite.  Take the Tigers + the points this afternoon.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Florida Gators + the points over Florida St.  The Gators were upset by Vandy last week, as a double-digit favorite.  This week, they're an underdog, and the Gators are 12-4 ATS their last 16 as a dog (compare to 3-16-1 ATS their last 20 as a favorite).  Take Florida + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the California/UCLA game Under the total.  The last nine meetings (and 11 of the last 12) between the Bruins and Bears have gone UNDER the total.  And that's the way we'll look in this game, as the UNDER also falls into a 62% Totals system of mine.  Take the UNDER.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Texas Longhorns minus the points over Baylor.  The Bears defeated Texas, 31-24, last season.  We'll lay the points in this revenge match, as Baylor's 0-26 straight-up, an 8-16-2 ATS when playing a revenge-minded foe, and getting 6+ points.  Take Texas.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Toledo Rockets minus the points over Western Michigan.  The Broncos come into this game off an upset road win at Central Michigan.  But they're back home today, and they're a horrid 8-22 ATS as a home underdog.  Take Toledo.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10:10 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over Utah.  After starting the season with a bang, the bloom is starting to come off the rose for the Jazz.  They've now dropped 5 of 7, after starting 10-3.  We'll fade the Jazz tonight, as they're 18-38 ATS off a point spread defeat, and 4-13 ATS off back to back losses.  Lay the wood with the Warriors.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 2:05 pm, our selection is on the Calgary Flames over the Washington Capitals.  The decimated Capitals managed to eke one out on Wednesday night, topping the Flyers in OT, 3-2.  DC is still without D Orlov, W Wilson, and C Backstrom with Wilson the first one expected back in mid-to-late December.  The injuries have hurt the Caps deeply and it shows in the numbers.  Last year, this team averaged 3.29 GPG, good for the 10th best scoring rate in the League.  So far in 2022-20223, the Caps are averaging just 2.76 GPG, good for just 26th out of the 32 teams.  The Flames had won four of five before losing to the Penguins in Pittsburgh in a shootout on Wednesday, 2-1.  The Flames' defense and goaltending has been better on the road this season, as they have allowed 3.36 GPG in Calgary versus just 3.00 in eight games away from home.  The road team is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings of these two clubs.  Take the Flames.  As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
