NFL Preseason Football Betting
November 11, 2008
There are a lot of people who make money with NFL preseason football betting and now you can too. You can’t use the same tactics that you will during the regular season, but there is still money to be made. Some people are less confident because you don’t know who is going to be play for sure and who is going to sit, plus the coaches aren’t as concerned about winning games as they are about seeing who should make the team and who isn’t going to make the cut.
With all of that being said, if you have the right kind of information about who is going to see action then NFL preseason football betting can be pretty lucrative. If you can beat 52.4% with your winning percentage then you will be able to add to your bankroll during the month of August. Let’s go over a couple things that we look for.
The first is the coaching staffs and their philosophy. There are coaches who try to make every play count and try to win every game. These are the grinder like coaches who just hate losing even if it’s just a game of checkers or something. You will want to ride these coaches whenever possible, but there is another breed out there that couldn’t care less. They are going overboard to put players in the game to see how things work out, even if it’s not giving the team any shot at winning the game whatsoever.
Depth is another great indicator. You won’t see stars playing the whole game in the exhibition season, but if there are some solid backups without much of a dropoff then you’ll see the subs on defense get torched. Look for who is deeper on the depth chart to find some possible gems and nightmare matchups for some rookies trying to impress on the other side.
If you keep these things in mind then you can start your NFL football betting season off on the right track. Of course you can still pick up some football picks from our experts and get off to an even better start this season.
