Info Plays Saturday, November 15th Free Play:
3* on NC State +3.5
Reasons why NC State covers the spread Saturday:
1.) Home teams have been dominant in the ACC, and NC State is playing great football right now. NC State is coming off a 27-17 win at Duke. They nearly won at Maryland the previous week, falling by a final of just 24-27. This has shown how much the Wolf Pack have improved in their second season with Tom O’Brien as head coach.
2.) Wake Forest has been terrible on the road. Wake has lost their last two road games, a 0-26 blowout at the hands of Maryland and a 10-16 loss at Miami. Wake Forest should not be the road favorite here, especially with NC State playing as well as they have the last few weeks. NC State is 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last 8 home games against Wake Forest. As you can see, the home-field advantage in this series has been huge.
3.) System Play. We’ll Play On – A home team (NC STATE) – after a game where they forced no turnovers against opponent after 2 consecutive games with a turnover margin of +2 or better. NC State has turned the ball over just 1 time in their last 4 games overall. Now that’s taking care of the ball. Wake Forest has forced 4 turnovers in each of their last 2 games. The Deacons won’t be getting the easy scores they are used to getting Saturday, as NC State holds onto the football and gives Wake another road loss. Bet NC State at home.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Oregon State -3
Cal is just 1-3 on the road this season and faces a stiff challenge this week against an OSU team that has won 4 straight. OSU has been phenomenal at home this season, averaging 41.2 ppg on offense and only allowing 16.5 ppg on defense. The Beavers have a legit shot to win the Pac-10 and I don’t see them ruining that opportunity at home this week. If anything, they would likely fall next week on the road to Arizona. Oregon State is 20-6 ATS in home games in weeks 10 through 13 since 1992, 14-3 ATS in home games after 2 or more consecutive straight up wins since 1992, and 17-5 ATS after covering the spread in 4 out of their last 5 games since 1992. Cal has also been poor in games odds makers have figured to be close, at 12-26 ATS when the line is +3 to -3 since 1992. Take the Beavers at home.
Last, but not least, the Black Widow catches himself winners all season in college football and this weekend is no exception. Here’s what the Widow’s looking at today:
Widow’s CFB Free Pick for Saturday:
1* on Maryland +3
Maryland is a home underdog Saturday, yet they are 5-0 at home this season. If there’s one thing you can take away from the ACC this season, it’s that home teams have a huge advantage in this conference. Maryland will knock off North Carolina Saturday as they put together their best game of the season. North Carolina is only 2-5 SU and 1-6 ATS versus Maryland since 1999, with average loss being 19 points per game. The Turtles have covered 4 of 5 at College Park with the favorite a solid 10-5 ATS. Maryland is 18-6 ATS (+11.4 Units) in home games off a loss by 10 points or more to a conference rival since 1992. The Terps are allowing only 16.4 points per game at home this season, outscoring their opponents by more than 14 points per game. Home field does the trick Saturday. Take Maryland and the points.
