Bengals at Ravens Free Football Picks
October 8, 2009
The first place Cincinnati Bengals will try to keep the good times rolling this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The latest football odds have the Ravens listed as 8.5-point favorites.
Baltimore is coming off of a 27-21 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, their first loss of the season. Cincinnati had to go into overtime to get past the winless Cleveland Browns 23-20. Both teams are 3-1 and Cincinnati has not lost since their opener against Denver.
The Bengals have not been shy when it comes to offensive fourth down situations so far this season. They have converted an astounding seven of eight fourth down conversions to date. Carson Palmer has led the Bengals offense this year and has passed for 845 yards and six touchdowns. Cincinnati may have a hard time running the football as the Ravens are allowing only 59.5 yards per game, which is tops in the NFL. I would have to say the edge goes with Cincinnati plus the 8.5 points for this one.
