2010 Cal Football Predictions

The California Golden Bears finished up the 2009 season in sixth place in the Pac-10 Conference with a 5-4 record. The Golden Bears finished up the season at 8-5 overall after a 27-37 loss against Utah in the Poinsettia Bowl. Head coach Jeff Tedford will lead 14 returning starters onto the field in his ninth season with the club, and while expectations are low for this team, they have the potential to make some noise in the Pac-10 this season. There wasn’t much hype surrounding the Pitt program heading into last season, but they burst onto the scene with 10 wins thanks in large part to little known RB Dion Lewis.  Dave Wannstedt had a successful 2008 and has gone 17-5 the past two regular seasons.  While the Panthers look to take a step or two back this year on paper, don’t be surprised if this team exceeds expectations once again.  They practically gave away the Big East title a year ago losing their final two games by a combined...

Rutgers College Football Preview 2010

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights didn’t quite live up to expectations in 2009 even though they won nine games.  A 45-24 win over UCF in the St. Petersburg bowl supplied some needed momentum heading into this season.  The Big East is up for grabs and if everything comes together the conference could be looking up at Rutgers at the end.  Head coach Greg Schiano is widely respected throughout college football as one of the best teachers.  This season will be one of his finest if he gets the players...
